Q: How will CliniCom™ make better use of clinical time?
A:  CliniCom™ allows you to improve rapport with your patients by devoting more time to listening to, educating, and helping your patients. It also greatly assists in formulating a treatment plan. With automated on-demand reports which include the most detailed feedback from the patient along with suggested diagnosis that should be explored further. CliniCom™ upgrades your level of care by maximizing the use of your valuable clinical time and resources.

Q: How does CliniCom™ mitigate liability?
A:  With CliniCom™, you will experience greater accuracy in the gathering of information. No important questions are left unanswered by the user. Clinicians can rest assure in knowing that they are not forgetting to ask important questions, which can sometimes occur as a result of simple human error. This greatly reduces medical liability in general.

Q: Has CliniCom™ been validated?
A:  CliniCom™ suggested diagnosis can and should be validated by the clinician by using the features found within the "Review of Diagnoses" section. This section allows the clinician to accept, reject, or rule out CliniCom™ suggested diagnoses. CliniCom™ also includes a feature that allows clinicians to add a diagnosis that may not have been suggested by CliniCom™

Q: How do patients use CliniCom™?
A:  Once the patient's account is set up, and the patient is comfortably seated at a computer loaded with the application, the patient will be logged in to CliniCom™. We recommend that CliniCom™ be used in a quiet space within the doctor's office or hospital at any computer that has a high speed internet connection.

The patient or guardian is now on their own ready to begin answering questions intuitively evoked by CliniCom™.

CliniCom™ gathers information input directly by the adult patient or in cases where the patient is a minor, from family members and/or legal guardians. CliniCom™ can be used within the doctor's office or from any computer with an internet connection via a secure and private portal.

Q: Is CliniCom™ easy to use for patients?
A:  CliniCom™'s user-friendliness will allow patients to comfortably sit at a CliniCom™ station and provide the clinician with all of the important intake and assessment information needed. CliniCom™'s questions are designed around a sixth-grade reading level, and a recent survey of over 300 CliniCom™ users showed that 85% of CliniCom™ users reported that the application was very easy to use.

Q: Are there any up front costs and what are the hardware requirements?
A:  There are no upfront costs and no start up cost. All you need is a computer with internet access and a quiet place where patients can use the technology. Don't have a computer? Special pricing arrangements have been made for those who do not have a computer and need to order one for CliniCom™.

Q: How do I bill for CliniCom™?
A:  CliniCom™ is fully reimbursable by insurance companies. Reimbursements vary by State and payor. CliniCom™ charges are accepted by payors in addition to regular charges submitted for an initial or established patient visit.

Codes that are most frequently used to bill for CliniCom are 96101, 96102, & 96103. Please see our reimbursement guide for additional information.

Q: Can I add my own comments into the CliniCom™ report?
A:  CliniCom™ allows clinicians to add comments to the final report. This feature is found on the clinician's home page.
